Time & Location
About the Event
Are you trying to juggle your children’s virtual education during the pandemic and your own work and personal commitments?
Are you running out of ideas to keep your family entertained during these challenging times?
How are you supposed to keep your children and yourself physically active when you stay at home and maintain social distance?
Is it actually possible to find a physical activity that the whole family can enjoy without breaking the bank?!
I bet you’ve tried to come up with things to do with your children that don’t involve their electronics... And nothing has quite worked for you, right?
How do you find the TIME to exercise … if you're a busy parent and/ or have a full time job?
When was the last time you experienced an exciting activity with your child and enjoyed the sense of fun and freedom that comes from flying?
You may be thinking: “Flying? That’s not for me!” “I am too weak, tired, inflexible…” [insert your favorite excuse].
Let me show you that you can build strength, flexibility, confidence, energy while laughing, bonding and learning to fly with your kids.
You will stretch and tone your whole body, improve core strength, upper body strength, balance and coordination while building confidence, and it won’t even feel like a workout because you and your kids will have so much fun doing it! Can you imagine the confidence your child develops when they feel like they can fly and do flips safely in the hammock?! I’ve seen it over and over again…. Going from “I can’t” to “Can we do this again?”
Floating in an open sling can also be a calming experience for kids and adults alike. We will learn breathing techniques that help emotional regulation while still having fun!
As a certified traditional yoga and yoga trapeze teacher, I draw from multiple modalities to create an exciting and effective workout.
Kids and adults of all physical abilities can do yoga trapeze. We have 6-year-olds and 50+ year-olds equally enjoying the moves, tricks and flows with yoga trapeze and aerial hammock.
You can spend thousands of dollars on home fitness equipment only to realize that your kids are not interested to try it or get bored with it easily. That’s very unlikely to happen with yoga trapeze. You can get a yoga trapeze easily and economically. You can hang it from a structural beam, ceiling hooks, home gym bar, or take it outside and hang it on a playground swing set. It is up to you where and when you want to work out.
In addition to buidling strength and flexibility, yoga trapeze also offers inversion therapy benefits, decompressing the spine and preventing and relieving back pain.
If your child is an athlete, aerial fitness is a great supplemental practice to any sport because it allows to work on strength, flexibility, balance and stamina.
